慈光幼稚園創校於1975年，由資深教育專業人士開辦。於2007年參加學券計劃，並轉為非牟利幼稚園。本於於2021-22年度沒有參加「幼稚園教育計劃」。本校在沙田瀝源村成立至今已逾46載，主要為沙田區內3-6歲的兒童提供就學服務，深得區內家長歡迎及支持。

Benevolent Light Kindergarten was founded in 1975 by educational professionals. In 2007, we joined the Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme. Since then, we have become a non-profit-making kindergarten .  Our school NOT Joining the Kindergarten Education Scheme
in the 2021/22 School Year.  Our school has a history of 46 years since we were founded in Lek Yuen Estate in Shatin with the mission of providing preschool education for children aged 3-6 living in Sha Tin District. Over the years, we are honoured to have the trust and support of the parents in the district.
